Special Fixed Deposit (FD) scheme for senior citizens of SBI, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank ends this month.

Special Fixed Deposit (FD) scheme for Senior Citizens offered By SBI, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank will end this month. It was launched in May last year to guard the interest of the Senior Citizens, as the rates of interest were falling rapidly.

In this scheme, these banks provided extra interest rates over the existing rates applicable for them in case of term deposits.
