Bank of Baroda Launches a Network of 6,000 UPI-Enabled ATMs

Bank of Baroda has welcomed innovation by introducing a service, making 6,000 UPI ATMs accessible across the country. Now, customers can effortlessly withdraw cash without needing a debit card; all it takes is a quick scan of a QR code displayed on the ATM’s screen. This revolutionary feature uses compatible card-less cash withdrawal technology, enabling customers from any participating issuer bank having any UPI-enabled mobile app, to access cash from these ATMs.

Joydeep Dutta Roy, the executive director of Bank of Baroda, praises this UPI ATM innovation, stating, ” The UPI ATM facility is a convenient and secure way to withdraw cash without using a card. It marries the popularity and security of UPI with the extensive reach and availability of ATMs”.
