PNB raised the daily ATM withdrawal limit for VISA Gold Debit Cards

The Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced that it will soon adjust its debit card transaction limit. The bank stated that the daily ATM cash withdrawal limit for VISA Gold debit cards, platinum MasterCard cards, and Rupay cards would increase from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh.

The bank stated, “Dear clients, the bank will soon adjust the Debit Card transaction limit for premium variations.

According to the bank’s website, the daily ATM withdrawal limit for VISA Gold Debit Cards has increased from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh, while the daily POS limit has increased from Rs 1,25,000 to Rs 3,00,000.

The ATM cash withdrawal limit for Rupay Select and Visa Signature debit cards will increase to Rs 150,000 from Rs 50,000. These cards’ daily limit for POS transactions would increase from Rs 125,000 to Rs 500,000.

Customers are advised to set their customised limit via Internet banking, mobile banking apps, PNB ATMs, interactive voice response, or by visiting their base branch,” PNB stated in a statement.

In addition, the bank has published tips for being safe online and warned against disclosing personal information, debit card information, and UPI PINs.

Current withdrawal maximum

The current daily withdrawal limit for PNB Bank customers is Rs 25,000, while the withdrawal limit per transaction is Rs 20,000. PNB customers have a daily POS transaction limit of Rs 60,000. This limit applies limited to Rupay and Mastercard Classic debit cards issued by banks.

In addition, there is a daily withdrawal limit of Rs 50,000 for PNB customers. The daily and one-time cash withdrawal restrictions for Visa Gold Debit Card holders are Rs 125,000 and Rs 20,000, respectively.

How to setup maximum withdrawal?

All consumers are able to set a maximum debit card limit to control their spending. For PNB, consumers must download and log into the PNB One APP. Customers must then choose the debit card symbol and click the ‘Update ATM Limit’ button.

Then, users must choose the account number from a drop-down option. Customers must pick their debit card number from the drop-down box under debit card authentication. Then, they must enter the expiration date, year, and PIN.
